- Leading Edge ATS (LEATS) established in 2009, specializing in developing fully customized MELs for operators of a wide range of aircraft around the world (US and foreign registered)
- 39 years’ experience working in the aviation maintenance and engineering field, both airline and business aviation
- Involved with operator MELs, MMELs and FAA MMEL Policy Letters since 1997
- Former MEL Program Manager for Delta Airlines (9 years)
- Former Sr. Manager of MEL Engineering for United Airlines (10 years)
- Longstanding member of FAA/A4A MMEL Industry Group (served as industry chairman and vice-chairman for multiple terms)
- Longstanding relationship with NBAA Technical Operations staff, providing input on MEL-related topics in support of their membersÂ
- BCAA MEL Subject Matter Expert (SME) and approved MEL provider
- LEATS also provides consulting services to OEMs and operators in their efforts to develop/revise MMELs
- Primary contractor for Lockheed Martin LM100J MMEL project
- Member of National Business Aviation Association
- Licensed pilot (ASEL) and aircraft technician (A&P)
